Contra Bass or Sousaphone?
Which one is the best marching tuba? I prefer the sousaphone.
DCI uses contrabasses, so I want to assume that they’re better as far as tone and projection.
Sousaphones are easier for students to carry, thus the reason band directors resort to them.
